Julia is a photographer turned mixed media artist from Abilene Texas. She earned her BFA in Photography from Sam Houston State University in 2012. Though her degree is in photography, her most recent work is a combination of ceramics, mixed media  and sculpture. Julia completed a Post Baccalaurette program at Colorado University at Boulder this past year and will be attending Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia to work on her Masters of Fine Arts this fall. She has participated in several shows exhibiting her work at the Gaddis Geeslin Gallery, Students of Fine Arts Gallery and Lowman Student Gallery in Huntsville Texas.
